Three of Les's original songs were recognized by the 2011 UK Songwriting Contest!
She was a Finalist in the International songwriting event with "Someday Soon", the title-track of the last Voxology album.
She was a Semi-Finalist with "Stories (for Lauren K.)" and her tune "If She Waits" received a Commended Entry nod. All songs were entered in the Acoustic/Folk category.
Les was selected one of 10 finalists in the internationally recognized Songwriters Contest at the 2010 Susquehanna Music and Arts Festival in Havre de Grace, MD. Les and Voxology took the 3rd place award at the live competition held at the Vandiver Inn in Havre de Grace.
Songs written by Les were recognized by the South Florida Folk Festival. She and Voxology traveled to Ft. Lauderdale, FL to perform at the festival.
